A Brighter, Cleaner Tomorrow

Our Story

Our Namibian office was established in 2026, building on more than two decades of experience within the German Densys / SINNVEST Group - a network of companies active in solar project development, engineering consulting, system operations, and solar component distribution.

The group’s origins date back to 2000 with the founding of PV5 Solarconcept GmbH in Germany, initially focused on photovoltaic wholesale and project business. In 2008 and 2009, SINNVEST GmbH and Densys GmbH were established, expanding the group’s activities into project development and PV wholesale.

Since 2010, the group has developed and operated its own portfolio of photovoltaic systems, gaining extensive experience in both the technical and commercial management of solar installations.

In 2014, Densys and PV5 Solarconcept merged to form Densys PV5 GmbH, strengthening the group’s expertise in PV wholesale, engineering, and consulting. The group later expanded internationally, including decentralized energy projects across Africa.

In 2020, Densys Solutions GmbH was founded to strengthen engineering and consulting capabilities while supporting wholesale partners and developing large rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.

In 2022, the company relocated to Karlstein, Germany, expanding its operational capacity to more than 60 employees and nearly 8,000 m² of warehouse space to support continued growth.

In 2024, the group expanded further with the launch of pv MAX, extending wholesale activities into the Benelux region and strengthening its European market presence.

By 2025, the Densys Group had grown to approximately 80 employees across wholesale, project development, implementation, quality assurance, and administration.

Today, this technical expertise and long-term industry experience form the foundation of Densys Renewable Energy Namibia - bringing German quality standards and practical solar solutions to Namibia’s growing renewable energy market.

Behind Densys Renewable Energy is a team of specialists with extensive experience across the international solar industry. We combine engineering expertise, commercial expertise, and practical project experience to deliver reliable energy solutions for Namibia’s growing market.

Our team has worked across the full lifecycle of solar projects – from early-stage planning and permitting to engineering, EPC coordination, grid integration, and long-term system operations. With more than two decades of industry experience, our specialists have contributed to the delivery of over 500 residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar installations across multiple markets.

This experience includes large-scale solar plants and hybrid systems combining solar PV, battery storage, and backup generation. Our experts have also held leadership roles within the renewable energy sector and worked closely with utilities, investors, and regulatory stakeholders.
