A Brighter, Cleaner Tomorrow

Our Story

Our Namibian office was established in 2026, building on more than two decades of experience within the Densys / SINNVEST Group in Germany, a network of companies active in photovoltaic development, consulting, system operation, and solar component distribution.

The group’s origins date back to 2000 with the founding of PV5 Solarconcept GmbH, focusing on photovoltaic wholesale and project business. In 2008/2009, SINNVEST GmbH and Densys GmbH were established, expanding the group’s activities into project brokerage and PV wholesale.

Since 2010, the group has developed and operated its own portfolio of photovoltaic systems, gaining extensive experience in the technical and commercial management of solar plants.

In 2014, Densys and PV5 Solarconcept merged to form Densys PV5 GmbH, strengthening the group’s capabilities in PV wholesale and consulting. The group later expanded its activities internationally, including decentralized energy supply projects in Africa.

In 2020, Densys Solutions GmbH was established as the group’s engineering and consulting entity for photovoltaic systems.

With this strong technical foundation and industry experience, the expansion into Namibia marks the next step in bringing German engineering expertise and long-term solar experience to support the country’s growing renewable energy sector.

Behind Densys Renewable Energy stands a team of highly experienced renewable energy professionals with decades of combined expertise across the global solar industry. Our specialists bring strong technical, commercial and project development capabilities, supported by long-standing relationships with investors, utilities and industry partners.

The team has extensive experience across the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects — from early-stage development, permitting and PPA negotiations to engineering, EPC management, grid integration and long-term system operation. With more than 18 years of experience in solar energy and over 500 delivered installations across residential, commercial & industrial, and utility-scale projects, the team has successfully contributed to the implementation of high-performance solar infrastructure.

Our experts have been involved in the development and construction of major energy projects, including multi-megawatt solar power plants and hybrid energy systems combining solar PV, battery storage and diesel generation. Their background also includes leadership roles within the renewable energy industry and active engagement with national utilities and regulatory stakeholders.
