1. PV Solar Installation Supervisor

Location: Windhoek Type: Full Time

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on PV Solar Installation Supervisor to lead and oversee the installation of solar PV systems across Namibia. This role is responsible for supervising installation teams, ensuring work is completed safely and to the required quality standards, and supporting the successful delivery of PV projects on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate teams during the installation of solar PV systems
  • Oversee residential, commercial, and industrial PV installations
  • Plan and coordinate daily site activities and installation work
  • Ensure solar panels, mounting structures, cabling, and related equipment are installed correctly
  • Monitor installation progress and ensure projects remain on schedule
  • Provide technical guidance and support to electricians, technicians, and installation teams
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant safety, quality, and electrical standards
  • Conduct site inspections and identify and resolve installation issues
  • Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment required for site activities
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Liaise with project managers, electricians, clients, and other site stakeholders as required

Requirements

  • N4–N6 Electrical or equivalent advanced qualification
  • 5+ years’ experience in electrical, solar PV, or related installation work
  • Demonstrated leadership and team supervision capability
  • Trade Diploma advantageous
  • Wireman’s License / Certificate of Competency (COC) advantageous
  • Strong practical and technical problem-solving ability
  • Good understanding of solar PV installation and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and installation plans
  • Willingness to travel throughout Namibia
  • Valid driver’s license

Technical & Computer Skills

  • Proficient in MS Excel for preparing progress reports, inspection reports, and fault-finding reports

2. Tender & Commercial Manager

Location: Windhoek Type: Full Time

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Tender & Commercial Manager to support the growth and delivery of solar PV installation projects across Namibia.

This role will be responsible for managing the tender and quotation process from initial opportunity through to submission and commercial handover. The position involves reviewing tender requirements, attending pre-bid and site meetings, preparing project cost calculations, obtaining supplier quotations, coordinating procurement requirements, preparing commercial offers, and supporting sales and client engagement.

The role is primarily office-based, with regular travel to project sites, client meetings, pre-bid meetings, and meetings with consulting engineers, suppliers, and other project partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, review, and manage solar PV tender and project opportunities
  • Review tender documents, scopes of work, specifications, BOQs, and commercial requirements
  • Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and clarification meetings
  • Assess project requirements and identify technical, commercial, and procurement requirements
  • Prepare project cost calculations, estimates, and quotations
  • Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Coordinate project-specific procurement requirements and supplier engagement
  • Work closely with the technical and installation teams to develop accurate project costs
  • Prepare and submit professional commercial proposals and tender responses
  • Support sales activities and maintain relationships with clients and project stakeholders

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Electrical, Construction, Procurement, or a related field
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in tendering, project costing, sales, procurement, or a related commercial role
  • Experience in the solar PV, electrical, construction, engineering, or renewable energy industry advantageous
  • Strong ability to read and understand tender documentation, specifications, and BOQs
  • Demonstrated experience in costing, pricing, quotations, and tender preparation
  • Strong supplier and procurement coordination skills
  • Commercially minded with strong negotiation and analytical abilities
  • Excellent organisational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with technical, installation, procurement, and finance teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites and client meetings
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work under pressure

Technical & Computer Skills

  • Proficient in MS Excel for project costing, pricing, quotations, and tender preparation
  • Ability to analyse BOQs, project specifications, and supplier quotations
